Borage

Borago officinalis is part of the Boraginaceae family. Native to Europe, Northern Africa and Asia-Temperate regions. This is widely known as the Borage family.

It can also be called common borage, starflower, bee flower, bee plant or talewort.

This particular herb has been noted primarily for its sky blue flowers. The leaves and flowers are edible and it contains a delicious cucumber smell from its foliage. The dainty flowers, however, are preferred for garnishing summer drinks and salads.

This is a great plant for pollinating insects as well!

Placing the flowers in a little bag and carrying it with you is a wonderful way to promote inner strength and aid in bravery.
